St James Street Church based in Southampton run fund based activities for disadvantaged children and members of their community, Mick Mercer along with his wife Ellie, make a weekly food run providing basics for the kitchen at the church, they, in turn, provide much-needed meals for all ages of their community.
We organise an annual day out for the children who attend the church’s groups, this year we opted for a day at Finkley Down Farm, all of the children enjoyed their day very much with the animals and play parks, and we were blessed with perfect weather which meant ice creams all round!
