As a family run company with heart we always like to be able to give back to our community where possible, and this year we have managed to help out 3 local amazing charities!, we have added a little write up below on each one, we do hope you will take the time to look at their websites and maybe send them a little extra help, they all do such amazing work within our community and its been a pleasure to be able to help them out, we would like to thank our dedicated staff and valued customers as without them this wouldn’t have been possible.
The Trussell Trust and Basingstoke Foodbank support a nationwide network of food banks and together they provide emergency food and support to people facing hardship, and campaign for change to end the need for food banks in the UK.
They work tirelessly to feed people from all age groups, and families, this year they were asking for Christmas Hampers to be made up so people and families, who might otherwise go without, have a little joy this year! , we funded and made up 25 hampers full of yummy goodies, we do hope these go to making some much needed smiles.

Spotlight UK started in April 2009. they started out to provide low cost activities to help increase confidence and self esteem to children and young people across Basingstoke. However this vision quickly grew and they were able to provide emotional and practical support as well as enjoyable and fun activities to hundreds of children and young people across the area every year. They also help the Elderly in their community who require extra day to day help or food.
Their Christmas Appeal this year was for toys and gifts for those who without them, may not have received anything this Christmas, and i hope you agree, every child, and elderly person, deserve a smile and a little love.
We hit Spotlights amazon wish list and managed to purchase so many gifts!, Spotlight have the job of wrapping them all and are always looking for volunteers to help, so if you think you could spare some time, or some extra pennies for their amazing work, then please see their link below.
Step By Step passionately believe in supporting local young people aged 11 – 25 who are going through hard times. They take a unique step by step approach, providing accommodation, personal development opportunities, and specialist support services. It is their vision for every young person facing adversity, including homelessness, to realise their aspirations and reach their full potential.
Earlier in the year they approached us for a skip for their garden project, we were of course delighted to be able to help and donate one!, after learning about the amazing work they do for the young people in our community we wanted to help further. They are running an open doors appeal this year where all the money donated goes to help a young person who may otherwise end up homeless and living on the streets. £1500 was donated, and will go a little way towards what is needed for a safe place to stay and fund everything a young person will need to get them back on their feet.
We do hope you will take the time to look at their website link below and read some amazing stories of the work they do, and maybe donate a little help too.
